Kapitan's, although famous for its Tandoori Chicken, serves a really good variety of food. Open 24 hours a day, it is strategically located along Lebuh Chulia (Chulia Street). I went back to the shop after more than 2 years, and suddenly I appreciated how good the food is.

In the heart of Brown Garden (Taman Brown), Gelugor, lies probably one of the best banana leaf rice in Penang. One probably won't know about it unless told about it or recommended by someone they know. It seems to be the only restaurant (and probably business) that operates in this quiet neighbourhood.

Yes, the famous Penang Road Cendol. I've heard people saying that your trip to Penang would never be complete without trying the famous Penang Road Cendol. I'm sure you are reading this now because you want to know, is it that good? How does it look like? How can I get there? Or just want to reminiscence the time you had it yourself.

This is said to be the best and most famous cendol in Taiping. Even then name of the shop has the word "famous" in it.
